Workshop fee includes materials cost for all pigments used, 2 practice tiles for experimentation and cost of firing. Your painted piece will be coated with a clear glaze and high-fired. Turn-around time can vary depending on how busy the kilns get but your pieces will be available for pick-up within 3 weeks. 

This workshop is a private lesson on mixing and using ceramic pigments for painterly effects. Workshop includes glaze safety and technical demos, as well as ample work and experimentation time. Bring your own bisque fired cup/bowl or purchase one of our SR designs to paint. 

Turn around time for glaze firing can vary depending on how busy the kilns get but your cup will be available for pick-up within 3 weeks. 

All workshops are private lessons with ceramic artist and UW Art faculty, Timea Tihanyi. 

Workshop participants must be at least 18 years.  

All of our glazes and surface treatments when fired to cone 6 are food-safe, microwave and dishwasher safe.
